Everyone your mom
loves your app
She has to. I don't. I build web apps for a living, and for $50 I'll tell you what's working, what's broken, and whether your app deserves another month of your life.
Everyone in your life is too nice
Your friends say it's really cool. The one technical friend you trust hasn't opened the link. The people replying to your launch post are being polite, and the ones who weren't impressed said nothing at all.
Nobody on that list gets anything out of telling you the truth. I do: it's what you're paying me for.
Building the wrong thing for a month costs you the month. Finding out first costs $50.
What $50 buys
-
A verdict
Keep going, change direction, or stop. I pick one and show my reasoning.
-
The first five minutes
What a new user actually experiences: where I got confused, where I got bored, and what broke.
-
Fix-first list
The three changes that matter most, ranked by impact instead of ease.
-
Market reality
Who already does this, what they charge, and what that means for your version.
-
Receipts
Every claim in the report links to something you can check yourself.
-
This card is filler
Five cards in a three column grid looked lopsided, so this one only exists to balance the layout. If your app has one of these, I will find it.
How it works
- Tell me about your app. The form takes two minutes: a link to your live app and a couple of sentences about who it's for.
- Pay $50. I send a Stripe link when I confirm your slot. If the report teaches you nothing, say so and I'll refund it.
- Read the report in 48 hours. Written by a human, short enough to finish with your coffee.
Who's telling you this
I'm Goldwin. I run a web development studio, and I spend my days making the same calls your app is quietly passing or failing right now.
- Eight years building with AI, from back when that was a weird thing to do
- Six years shipping web apps
- Two years consulting
- One chemistry degree, for reasons that made sense at the time
The paid version of my opinion arrives in writing, on a deadline, with nothing softened. It isn't a roast for its own sake either: I ask the pointed questions and back every answer with an example, a market number or a precedent, so you never have to take my word for it.
Find out now, not in three months
One app, one honest written report, 48 hours. $50 is cheaper than wasting a month on the wrong idea.
